At Reigate Grammar School Kuala Lumpur, we believe that a joyful start builds the strongest foundations. In our Early Years, children are welcomed into a nurturing, inspiring environment where play has purpose, curiosity is celebrated, and every child is known, valued, and encouraged to shine.
Our child-led, enquiry-based approach nurtures creativity, independence, and confidence from the very beginning. Whether experimenting with textures in sensory play or diving into imaginative storytelling, each day is filled with discovery, laughter, and learning. Through these rich, hands-on experiences, our youngest learners begin to make sense of the world around them — and their unique place within it.
Our Learning Spaces
Bright, well-equipped classrooms and age-appropriate learning zones support exploration, movement, and collaboration. From our dedicated Early Years inside areas to creative play corners and outdoor learning areas, every space is thoughtfully designed to meet children’s developmental needs and spark imaginative thinking.
Our Teachers
With small class sizes and an experienced team of passionate educators, every child receives the individual attention and care they need to thrive. Teachers and teaching assistants work in close partnership with families to ensure each child’s journey is supported, celebrated, and filled with joy.
Specialist lessons begin early and include music, PE, Mandarin, and art, all delivered in ways that are engaging, active, and playful.
Student Wellbeing
Emotional wellbeing is woven into every part of the day. Our Early Years team fosters a warm, inclusive culture where children feel safe, supported, and confident to express themselves. Through daily routines, values-led assemblies, and early social-emotional learning, we help children build resilience, empathy, and a strong sense of self.Specialist lessons begin early and include music, PE, Mandarin, and art, all delivered in ways that are engaging, active, and playful.
The School Day
Each day begins with a warm welcome and a big smile. From 8:00am, children engage in a variety of hands-on activities that promote physical development, communication, creativity, and problem-solving. Whether learning new Mandarin phrases, exploring rhythm in music, or dancing with joy during PE, every moment is meaningful and enriching.
Our curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and is personalised each week by our EY team to reflect every child’s interests, progress, and next steps in learning.
